About

Hello, I am a visual artist from the East Midlands currently based in Leeds, West Yorkshire (UK).

I make work about connection, emotional experience and perception. Moments from every-day life are expressed through fragments and semi-abstract forms that become metaphors for human interaction and feeling.
Alongside paper collages, I create functional boxes as mysterious containers to hold meaning and personal histories. These art objects have both an outside image and an internal existence, comparable to how we view ourselves and others.
Using various materials including wood, paint and paper, I seek harmony and depth through colour-matching, texture and layering.
