About

Hello, I am a visual artist from the East Midlands currently based in Leeds, West Yorkshire (UK).

My work is about perception, vulnerability and mystery.
Materials are gradually assembled and pieced together in panels which compartmentalise different moods and ideas or to suggest impermanence as though the work could easily be undone or rearranged. I often include plant motifs and symbolic forms from nature's sublime, inspired by my interest in Weird fiction literature.
I also create functional boxes as sculptural containers to hold meaning and personal histories. These art objects have both an outside image and an internal existence, comparable to how we view ourselves and others.
